Who in their right mind would want a zebra cobra who can spit venom 9 feet? Holy bleep...

It was inevitable. The cobra now has its own Twitter feed. Can't wait for his or her opinion about the nightlife in Glenwood South: https://twitter.com/CobraRaleigh?fbc...OiUxS-c8eoj09g

I don't understand why some people think it's a good idea to own such reptiles. There have been many cases of things gone wrong while treating these animals as pets.

Can't really figure out the risk/reward equation here either.

Heard last night from my wife (who heard from a friend) after I finished jury duty that the snake (and apparently the kid of the family who owned it) has a fairly active tiktok feed.

What a time to be alive.

Yup, we are at this point another Black Mirror episode. It seems like everything is on the edge of happening - robot dogs (Boston robotics already makes them and they are freaky), pig *ucking politicians (metaphorically speaking they already do), and those altered bumblebees (they recently deployed GMO mosquitos in Florida). Drones, tracking, eye-movement software and face recognition -- meh, we have already surpassed it.

Recently watched a cartoon called "Soul" and there are these characters who are all called "Jerry". They decide where the new souls go to get their personality. At some point one Jerry tells another one: "You should stop sending all of these souls to "self-obsessed" area... we just have too much of them." I thought that was really funny and too real.
