Hi,

I'd like to change the insulation in my crawlspace, but I couldn't find where I can dispose old one. You can't put it in your trash and it's not a hazardous material to be disposed in Household Hazardous Waste Facilities. Any ideas?

Thank you in advance!

I would try calling one of the Construction and Demolition Debris locations listed in the link below to confirm that they will take insulation. This seems like the best match to me from the description.

Depending on what county you live you can likely drop it at a local convenience center. I know in Wake County it’s fine for non commercial use.

Yep plus one. They only mentored no concrete in the construction waste station when I was last there.
