Thanks pierretong1991, and I appreciate your efforts in making biking in the area better.

Whenever I plan a road trip by bicycle on a route I haven't before ridden, I traverse the possibly troublesome or dangerous intersections via Google street view. For some destinations, I've had to toss in the towel and drive - even though the distance wasn't at all a problem.

I ride home-brew high-power electric bikes that reduce the speed differential between my bike and car traffic somewhat - most of the routes I ride, I wouldn't via pedal-only bikes. I also obey all traffic lights, signs and use hand signals.

The second contract has been awarded. This covers the part from south of Oak Grove Church Road to NC-210. Completion is expected by fall 2027.

The final segment that leads to NC-42 in Fuquay-Varina isn't currently funded in the 2024-2033 STIP.
