It would have to be a 3rd vehicle or an "extra" vehicle because it gathers too much attention. It's too much work to drive that thing in peace around most of the country.

It's like driving a G-wagon - the vehicle draws too much attention (which works for many of the people who buy it, but not everyone likes that).

The traditional pickup has been around for many decades, in many many millions of vehicles, as one of the most successful and popular of all vehicle versions. The form follows the function desired by most owners.

My Neural Network is attuned to common sense, functionality, and affordability. My 3rd F150 fills all of those needs, as did the other two. Not to mention the two GMCs.
I have nothing against the Cypertruck despite the foolish look and Elon Musk, but I am definitely not buying your spiel other than wondering about your need to rationalize it as less odd.
LOL, that I can agree.

What is projection?

Agree again.

Functionality: what do you know about the functionality of Cybertruck? Have you already concluded the Cybertruck is inferior to F-150? And how did you arrive that conclusion if so?

Now tell me (no, not really) how much biases are there if and when you watch that Edmunds video.

Affordability: yes, Cybertruck at the current price level is not affordable to majority of the people, and that's exactly the idea: the price is set to price out those who can't afford it, so there is no secondary market, like those concert tickets or sports event tickets, etc. supply vs demand, baby.

But it won't be so for very long.
