WOW! Hopefully everyone got the chance to see
the terrific sunrise this morning! The sun was a giant
yellow globe that rose over the hill top this morning over
the cool almost summer morning. As I peer at it through my
rear view mirror!

As it rises up over the Carolina pines in route to
providing light and warmth (a cool 85 degrees today
at that) I could not help to think about all the great
things the new day can bring!

As if just another day is not enough, it can also
bring new friendships and area possibilities. It will
bring a new NC home to others and possibly a new pet.
It can bring someone home that was afar, it can bring
that new job that you have been waiting on. It can
bring laughter when all seems glum! It can bring hope
when there was only dismay. It can and will bring light
when there was only darkness!

So yes the sun has risen on another day in beautiful NC but
what we chose to do with the time is our choice and making it a brighter
day is truly up to us! Enjoy every minute of it before it
slowly follows its path back over those NC hills! Make it a
Happy Wednesday!

Yes, my 5 year old enthusiastically woke me this up this morning to look at the "beautiful sunset" as she called it. I'm looking forward to another gorgeous day!

Dansdrive,

Thank you for such a positive and encouraging post. Yes, this morning's sunrise was absolutely beautiful -- what better way to start the day!

Did anyone catch the beautiful full moon we had last night?

Yes, I did see the full moon over the trees yesterday night. It was so beautiful! I never realized that moon light could be so beautiful and bright until I came to NC.

I wake up around sunrise every day, and watch it rise over CarpenterLake. I think the last week or so the colors have been richer due to the fire in Eastern NC. Sure looks good in the morning.
