I've heard this place is good! It always looks busy when we drive by.. Usually if we are in the mood for Pizza and we are downtown we go to Mellow Mushroom and sit out on the patio!

The Point at five points has wonderful brick oven pizza's and a cool atmosphere. Andy's Pizza, Piccola Italia and Amedeo's are all great imo.

I second an earlier vote of Gianni & Gaitanos. Phenomenal!

*Milton's--Wakefiel
*Gianni & Gaitano's--Wakefield (Rocco's--opening soon in Heritage-- is owned by the same people)
*Bella Italia--Wake Forest on Capcom road.

I have to tell you though that I really dislike PTA pizza.

If you're looking for a "Mom and Pop" type place..

Try Vincent's Pizza at 6300 Creedmoor Rd. It's on the corner of Creedmoor and Lynn.

I loooove Mellow Mushroom. Yes, it's a chain, but a LOT better than Dominos, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns and the like.

I give a thumbs up to Pizza at The Point. I love watching them make it in the brick oven while I sit in my booth enjoying a beer. Lily's Pizza is also very good. Then head over to the Rialto for a Movie!
