Today I took a quick drive through the Boylan Heights neighborhood and snapped a few pictures of one of the recent condo project in Downtown Raleigh called Bloomsbury Estates. Bloomsbury Estates stands out from the other ongoing condo projects becasue of its Second Empire architectural style.

Here are a few shots of the building (Taken August 1, 2008)

Bloomsbury Estates

I'm glad they left that beautiful big tree!

Site of to Boylan Bridge Brewpub located across the street.

NRG,
In the last photo, can you see downtown past the brew pub?

Mike,

Are you asking me if that is the future Brew pub in the last picture with downtown in the background? If so then the answer is yes. Or are you pointing out a mistake I missed in the post? Your threw me!

It's friday and I'm two bottles into a six-pack of Big Boss Hell's Bell Belgian Blonde so I may have missed something!!

FWIW, I'm kind of doubtful the pub will open by August 25th as they state on their website. It looks like it still needs a bit of work. I'm looking forward to the day it does open though!

NRG,

Just asking if you are able to look PAST the breew pub to see downtown...

We were talking today about the Grace Park townhomes in Morrisville, and how they are about 75 feet from Dairy Queen...
Similar situation...

North_ That is a great building. Is it brand new or restored? How much do they go for?

Got the price. $350,000 to $1.2 million. Pricey. You thinking of moving there?

Love this building. Wish I had the cash, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.
