I read about this on another blog and wanted to share the info here as well. It is called Sitti which according to the website is the Lebanese word for Grandmother. The menu on their website looks awesome and the pictures I've seen look very cool. If you want to see what the place looks like check out the article about their opening by googling "New Raleigh". Here's hoping this place does well!

Is it just me or do they not have lamb grapeleaves on the menu? I find that omission to be unacceptable as that is something a "real" lebanese place must have!

It looks like the Neomonde folks are involved. They make really good stuff but I wish they didn't "americanize" the menu so much.

I've yet to find a lebanese place as authentic as what I'm used to.

Mmm this food looks so delicious and healthy. I may live to 100 eat here . Thanks for the great tip. I like Neomonde so hopefully this would be a nice dinner leap for me into middle-eastern food.

Maybe they'll have great specials on new years eve during first night raleigh. That would be a great time to check out the downtown. As well as take a look at the new Oxford Gastro-pub.

The Oxford was really nice. The ambience of that place is amazing. The food is good as well. It wasn't knock your shoes off fantastic but I'd def go there again. Specially with a seasonal menu.

they have their own ambulance?! that doesn't seem to bode well for their food-poisoning chances...
