I'm looking for a quality professional to install wood flooring. Any recommendations?

Since the forum is on a Sedaris roll, several posters here have recommended Sedaris Hardwood Floors.

No personal experience, just passing it on.

We used this company last year and were very happy with them:

Custom Designs, Installations, Exotic Woods, BD's Hardwood Floors, Inc., Raleigh, NC (http://www.bdshardwoodfloorsinc.com/ - broken link)

I agree that BD Hardwood Floors is the way to go. I used to sell flooring and we used them to install and also for repair and for sand and recoat.

Not sure about floors, but Lowe's in Cary did our kitchen tile floor and the contractor they sent out did a VERY good job. Not sure who they use for hardwood.

Default Installers

Try Raleigh Carpet Installers. They have installation for carpet, tile and hardwood flooring. I can vouch as the owner is my neighbor.
