Anyone else noticed that Burlington Mills Rd, Ligon Mill and the stretch between Durant & Burlington Mills on Capital have been crawling with cops lately - wake Co, state troopers and WF Cops?
I see two or three every day! Is there some sort of sting operation they are running or seat belt violations, or something else ??
No, they are ALWAYS on Capital Blvd. From Burlington Mills to HWY 96..they're favorite spot is under the new 98 bridge. They love to hit you speeding- going down the big hill. Watch out!
I guess I'm wondering if there's anything else at play - saw 2 sheriff's parked in the ATV parking lot today, saw a swarm of them sitting in that abandonded house a few weeks back. Saw 2 people pulled over by state troopers - hooray, glad they're catching people, hope they catch some in the AMs pulling out of the Body Shop, especially those ginormous trucks that pull out with significant swagger ... and from Caddell Woods too. There's gonna be a nasty accident at those two spots one of these days. I asked a friend of mine that works in the sheriff's dept but not in a squad car and he had no idea.
