I will be coming down in April for closing of my new home, I am bringing my kids with me 7, 12, 18 and have heard of a place called the factory that has game rooms and skating. can someone give me directions, also I would like directions to Falls Lake. I will be staying on Capital Blvd. I am only staying for a week and half and then returning to NY until I move in the summer.

thanks in advance

There is an ice skating rink in Wake Forest and another one north of the Beltline near the Younkers Road area, but I've not visited either of them so I'm sorry I can't be of more help. Someone else here probably knows where the "factory" or whatever it's called is.

Take Capital to Durant Rd. and go west. When you get to Falls of the Neuse Rd. turn right. Falls of the Neuse Road will get you to the dam. And entrance will be on your left before you get to the bridge at the river. There are a few trails there and you can walk across the dam for some pretty views of the lake.

I hope you and your kids enjoy your visit!

"The Factory" is in Wake Forest at the corner of Rogers Rd. and US1-A/Main Street. Head north on Capital until you get to Wake Forest, then turn right on Main Street (by the car dealerships). The Factory is maybe 2 miles up on the right, just before Rogers Rd. You'll see it, look for the scupture in the shape of a cog!

Congrats and good luck with your closing!
