Is it time to get the veggie garden going?

Thanks for the advice and wonderful photos everyone;thats what I call motivation.
The railroad ties are officially out and thanks for warning me about that.
We'll be having a farmers market for the first time here in Clayton this year and I'm looking forward to what they'll have to offer as well.
Nothing beats biting into a sun warmed tomato in your own backyard though!

I just placed an order for seeds. Hopefully I'll still by in the correct time frame to start indoors by the time the order comes. This is my first year doing veggies in NC and I'm really excited about it. I'll be doing two 4x4' square foot gardens.

Oh I loved the Sunflower pictures! Maybe next year I can plant some sunflowers.

Has anyone planted hardy kiwis in this area? I'm really interested in getting some but have never known anyone who has tried these.
