++

I think any Panera location would fit the bill as an "internet" cafe...they all have wifi, most Starbucks that I am aware of as well.

Certainly I have seen students sitting unmolested in the Chapel Hill and Durham locations of Panera huddled around their laptops.

If you need a place that provides the computer as well as the internet connection.....not sure on that front.

If you have a laptop there are countless places that offer free wifi. Just about any place that serves coffee. If you need access to a computer itself the only place I can think to point you is the Wake County Library.

I need a place I can "hang" for some time to do some work. I can buy a sandwich and coffee if I must Also wondering if some of these places would tell me to hit the road after awhile......

There are places all over the triangle where you can hang for hours using there free wifi. But it might help to know where you are. North Raleigh, downtown, durham ect...

Pretty much any coffee shop and many restaurants. Where are you, maybe we can suggest a good one near you. When I want to work on my computer and have coffee and don't want the distractions of home, I go to Helios in downtown Raleigh.
