Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any place in the area (Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Wake Forest, etc) where you can sell sterling silver. I know the price of silver isn't too high right now but I need some quick money and I have a lot of old sterling silver I don't need/want.

Any suggestions (even if you aren't sure) would be much appreciated

Thanks!

Treasure Isle Jewelers - one near Triangle Town Center - one in Crabtree Mall.

Nice, honest folks.

I believe pawn shops pay more money for metals than jewelers. One day I called jewelers and pawn shops to see what prices they were paying and the weight measurement (you want to compare apples to apples so you may need to calculate this as they probably use different measurement systems). The pawn shops offered me a substantial amount more.

North State Jewelry & Pawn Inc is a good one. Nice to deal with.

Great! Thank you all for your replies. Gonna make some calls now. (Oh and it is jewelry but not the kind a pawn shop would want to buy to sell)
