Cary's own SAS is coming to the rescue with even more jobs, starting with construction jobs. Cary & SAS make such a great combination. GOD I love it here.

Of course, that will mean more people will come to live in your town.

But Cary isn't a 'town' it's suburb...because NO ONE in their right mind wants to live in a town or city! And of course, SAS will only hire people who live in Cary for these jobs because only people in Cary are employable. (NOT! LOL!)

The definition of Towns and Cities can be a bit fluid, but Cary fits the description of a city quite well.

They may be keeping the title of 'town' (which it certainly was not too many years back) for historical sake and to play up certain demographics and downplay others.

I do apologize. I was always under the impression that the difference between a town and city was based on population. But it seems to be more of a difference on local government.

Of course, since Cary's own mayor calls Cary a town and the site makes sure to point out that they are a town and not a city, I will abide by Cary's wishes and continue to call it a "town."

Yes it is good news but lets be realistic - a 'Cloud Computing Centre' will employ no more than 50 people as a general rule as it will be a lights out fully auotmated facility. The other thing of interest will be how many of the 1000 construction jobs will be taken by non registered immigrant workers in order to keep the construction costs low
