I have the stupidest question to ask: Does anyone (besides me) get shocked by the WalMart carts?
I was at the Brier Creek Walmart this morning. Pushing the cart, my hands were on the metal part of the handle, not the plastic part. After a few minutes, it felt like pin pricks in my palms! So strange!

Has anyone else gotten a reaction like that?
Yes.... I get zapped by those carts all the time and have mentioned it to the cashiers several times at checkout. It is annoying getting shocked and it only seems to be at that particular store. I'm not sure why Walmart hasn't switched to plastic carts.
I go to the walmart in Clayton and get shocked all the time........especially while packing my items and trying to pay.......Its happened so often I was starting to think there was some problem with the place.......and its not a little tweak......its a strong shock.....
Yes!! And then I get shocked when I open the fridge and freezer doors in that store as well. I am the crazy person going round Walmart saying OUCH! every few seconds.
it's god punishing you for shopping at the devil's store
LOL! I thought the same thing but decided not to post it... thanks for doing so!! Maybe that's why I've never experienced a shock from one of their carts, I don't enjoy shopping there at all.
