I realize it may be a little beyond the bounds of this forum, but does anyone have any feedback (good or bad) on potentially moving to any of these outer lying counties? Home pricing / quality, school systems, etc? We're seriously looking at Johnston county, but i want to make sure that we don't leave any stones unturned. We're coming over from GA, BTW. Thanks for any feedback!

We're relocating to Raleigh and just trying to find good areas to look at moving to. I don't know how the schools are or what the 'population' is like.

I used to live in Nash County. I would not recommend Nash County unless you're moving closer to Wake or Franklin Counties. There's not much there and Rocky Mount has gone considerably downhill.

I agree with XCop. Also used to live in Rocky Mount and the family still does. Plus...its what? 45 mins to an hour just to Knightdale. My Bro in law drives it everyday but I couldn't.
It really depends on what type of lifestyle you're looking for and how close you want to be to the 'big' city.
