i like north hills, i like glenwood south, and i really like brier creek where i AM in fact living. but if money was no object, there's this little section of glenwood ave before it turns into the glenwood south hipster zone where there's these really awesome looking houses....classy, unique, and expensive looking, and the area is well-treed and looks quite nice, plus it's very convenient to downtown. im trying to figure out how much they go for, because they remind me of Newton outside Boston, and those would go for ~800k - 5 million, i'd guess. any ideas?

I was just answering GLP's question. I thought he was asking about Glenwood-Brooklyn, but you might be right that he was describing Hayes- Barton. I am pretty sure that he was.

Governor's Clubs is a gated community about 4 miles south of Chapel Hill. The terrain and views from the top of Edward's Mountain are amazing. There is a 27 hole golf course, tennis, Health and fitness center with hand-scan access. Indoor-outdoor pools etc. The main clubhouse has recently been up-fitted and features a great terrace overlooking the lake on the 18th hole. The residents are mostly out of state folks, older and well heeled. Several leaders of Industry live there as well as retired Admirals, Generals and Ambassadors. The property has about 1600 acres and about 900 families in total.
