Where are the best tree nurseries in the Raleigh area? It isn't all about just chopping a tree - though having a big selection is a good thing!! It is also about the entire experience/atmosphere. Recommendations? Thanks.

We go to Back Achers. Home (Back Achers Christmas Tree Farm)

Boyce Farms is another good local choice. Boyce Farms :: Making Christmas Affordable One Tree At A Time! :: Christmas Tree Farm

However, keep in mind that Fraser Firs, the most popular Christmas tree, do not grow locally. If you want to cut those then you need to drive to western NC. We usually get a Leland Cypress.
Look here for places to cut a Fraser Fir: North Carolina Christmas Tree Association
