I am just looking for a good flooring company in the Raleigh area - any companies to stay away from as well would be great. Thanks!

Question Flooring Help???

Hello, I read your message about your need for a good flooring company. My husband is a hardwood flooring installer in Maine and we are looking to move to Raleigh/Garner area. Did you have any luck finding a good flooring company? If so what company was it? He is looking to advance to decorative hardwood floors. Do you know of any in the area?

Actually the reason I am looking for a good flooring company is along the same lines that you are. My boyfriend has his own flooring business here in NY and we are soon moving to the Raleigh area. He wants to be sure he is working for a company that is busy, well-known, and will provide him with an adequate amount of work. So far, I have not found much. The one post about North Carolina Flooring does help a bit though if you take a look and skim through it.

Keep me posted if you find out any other information and I will do the same

How interesting. Right now we are not sure what we are doing or where we are going. Raleigh is on my list because some of my family lives down their, however I don't know if the wages are going to warrent the cost of living. If you have any information let me know. Maybe we can work together to find something.

When we did this before I sent my husbands resume out to companies that were listed with NWFA. They are a great resource.
Good luck
