What would be the best way to get to the Millpond Village Campus (3434 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary) of Wake Tech from downtown? I am taking a class that starts at 6:10 pm.
DH and I did a test run to the campus using the following route:
401 S to 64W
64W to Rt 1 South
Exit to Ten-Ten Road East.
Left on Kildaire Farm Road to the campus.
Do you think this would be the best way to go at that time of day?
Not sure exactly where you are downtown, but I can tell you 64W/Rt 1 S. Isn't a road I'd want to be on at rush hour if I had to be somewhere at a certain time.
Dh travels that way and says:
So. Saunders to the beltline. Go to the Lake Wheeler exit. Go south of Lake Wheeler to Penny Road. Turn right on Penny Road and take it to Kildaire Farm Drive. Turn left on Kildaire and the campus is maybe 2 miles down.

I had a feeling that would be the case! Thanks for the alternate routes.
Please tell your husband thanks from me - class started last night and I made it to campus in one piece without getting lost or stuck in horrible traffic. His route was perfect!
Or from the beltline take the Gorman St exit, rt on Tryon, left on Holly Springs Rd, right on Penny, left on Kildaire Farm.
This is also a great route as well. Depending on your beginning location in downtown this could save you a few extra miles & time. They both still beat traveling Kildaire or 64W & US1

Awe, nice of you to stay. And here I tell him he can't find his way out of a paper bag. Glad you found your way!!
