I have some ideas of the house I hope to find... I don't know if this is reasonable, but here is my wishlist. I would love to start checking out neighborhoods even though my house won't be on the market for another month or two. All help appreciated!

- Under $300K but at least 2200 sq. ft.
- At minimum, very near 540 and preferably between 440 and 540
- 2 car garage
- nice neighbors would be a plus!

If older neighborhoods are ok Stonehenge comes to mind. I've always liked that area. It is south of 540 but easy to get to up Creedmoor road. Also easy trip down to Crabtree Valley Mall.

Stonehenge is nice- I like older homes (the ones that have been kept up nicely). I probably should have posted that I'm looking for more neighborhoods like Stonehenge.

I'll put my vote in for Stonehenge, also. It's a beautiful area and a location with which most people couldn't be more pleased. Nearby access to most anything you'd need, plus the quiet serene surroundings.
Between 40 and 540, five mins. from Crabtree Mall, and 20 mins. from downtown via Glenwood Avenue.
best,
toodie
