We need to find someone to test a child for Dysgraphia. Does anyone have recommendations? I am looking for someone who actually specializes in language learning disabilities, not just a center who does general testing. This is very specific, and the testing results matter a lot! Reputable recommendations? ? ? Thanks for any help.

Thank you, but I just wanted to clarify: "Dysgraphia". This is a language learning disability.

Try Dr. Preston at Chapel Hill Pediatric Psychology. He does a very thorough job with his assessments, and I was very impressed with the report he made. I know he is highly qualified in dyslexia. Not sure about dysgraphia, but I would definitely call and check.

I would definitely recommend calling Chapel Hill Pediatric Pyschology. A lot of people in the area use them and they are highly regarded.

A Psychologist will want to do a complete evaluation
,not just test for one specific disorder.

Dysgraghia often goes along with other language/learning
problems.
