Need tips on finding good realtor (Chapel Hill: chapel, professionals, area)

Could use tips on finding a good realtor in the area, where to look for one other than the phone book or random googling, and how to asses that one is good.

We are blessed with a few very fine realtors on this very forum. Browse a bit and you'll find them. C-D rules prohibit posting realtor references in the forums, and I think they may even be prohibited from private messaging you with offers.

Get a personal referral from someone you know who was happy with the service they got, interview them and make sure they understand what your needs and wants are, and your priorities. This means you will have to be clear on these things yourself, so think hard and write them down. IMO, this area has a lot of very good professionals.
