Pastrami. Yuck.

I worked in a first class deli 50 yrs ago. We sold one pastrami sandwich for every 30 corned beef sandwiches.

What's with this pastrami baloney?

Speaking of which, I haven't been able to find garlic baloney since Fry's closed.
DH and the dog miss it.

(Yes, I know stores carry the stuff made by Boars Head but it has zero garlic flavor and is insanely expensive for baloney.)

it would appear you need to try the place at Tryon & Walnut in Cary. I saw on their website they sell 3 sizes, including a monster-sized Katz-looking sandwich.

I'm kind of surprised a CA burger would have mayo not avocado or guac.

I make my own. I like fried baloney and onions. I crush up a clove of garlic into it and "fry" it gently in butter, of course, and it has to be served on Wonder bread. Yum.

Did anybody ever go over and try this place? Or even figure out its name?

Or ever find that impossible dream of a NY hot pastrami?

Oh, man - if you find out, please share. Also real bagels and real pizza. (I know there is debate on pizza. I haven’t had it for years. There’s one place in Scottsdale that comes close.
There has to be a hint of diesel fuel in the background. Darn I miss NYC.
