Hello,

I am looking to relocate my family to Cary or Apex, and after doing some research it seems like Green Hope High or Apex High are the way to go. I do have some concerns over how the Wake County School district seems to be constantly changing school districts zones, so I would hope that my school wouldn't change.

I am moving from LI and will be finding a job before I move. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the job situation is in the triangle right now? I am a software engineer with a specialty in Microsoft.net. Also what would the expected salary range be for a senior developer with over 10 years of experience?

Thanks for any help

There have been numerous threads recently about the job market (or lack thereof). A lot of companies have suffered layoffs and cutbacks.

Regarding the Wake County school reassignments, high schools do not seem as prone to changing, but NOTHING is certain with the schools here. I'm not certain about Apex HS, but Green Hope is excellent as is Panther Creek.
