I need an old eye doctor! My young one doesn't know what the difference is between the new contacts he put me in and the the old ones I've worn all my life that were comfortable!

I've been in hard contacts since I was FIVE. (Well, they switched over to gas-permeables somewhere along the way.) Now I'm 41. I've gotten numerous prescriptions over the years when I lived in Virginia and when I lived in Florida. Never any problem, until now! Suddenly I'm in new contacts that I'm aware of every second, and I never was aware of them in my eyes before. I even went to the lab where they made them and had a woman work on them, remake them... nothing helps. (She didn't even recognize the material the ones I had before were made of!)

I figure if I can find an old guy, he'll have the experience to know what to put in my eyes. Please post your recommendations if you have contacts and an older eye doctor! Thank you!
