Hey Everyone,

I've noticed a few educators' replies on these threads and am wondering about the opportunities for part time employment for educators in Wake Forest county. My hubby and I are planning a move from San Diego in the near future to Cary area. I have 10 years teaching experience w/masters degree but do not want to work full time. It doesn't necessarily have to be a teaching position, just something in the rhelm of education. I'm really after the benefits being that my hubby is an independent contractor and we will have to be paying out of pocket for insurance! Are P/T jobs available and if so, when do you have to apply by? Any good educator websites known? One last question, are there any home-school outfits in NC? I was thinking they may need teachers to oversee the home school kids. My girlfriend works P/T for a home-school here in California and she's able to work mostly from home.
Thanks for any info!

Part time here in wake county and forget health bennies. In fact you have to pay a good part of your spouses insurance with a full time gig.
