I recently heard a rumor that this may be true. Does anyone have any specific information. I'm tired of driving to Durham, but I love the products and prices at Costco over Sams/BJ's.

I heard the same rumor last year but nothing new lately. I go to the Raleigh Costco, but would love, love, love one closer. The rumor I heard was that it would be in the vicinity of Cary Parkway and Rte 1 (64?), which would be perfect for me.

According to Cosco's Coming Soon page, nothing is scheduled for this area in 2010.

Costco in Raleigh!! I thought I had looked and tried to find a closer Costco on their website, but I just looked and found it! It's only 20 minutes drive instead of 40! Awesome! Thank you. :-)

It's *much* easier to get to compared to the Durham one!

I do notice that the Raleigh Costco seems to be getting more and more busy so maybe that bodes well for a Cary location in 2011/12. :-)

You and me both! That one does not show up on GPS either. I'm glad I don't have to drive as far to get to one though. ;-)

I was so many shades of happy when I didn't have to drive to the Durham one anymore. Way too far and that club seems smaller. As an added bonus, there's a Trader Joe's right around the corner! Wh00p wh00p!

Meat House is looking at that area for their second store, too. Also, remember that the Raleigh Costco has propane refills for $10 (thous it is by the biggest SOB in RAL).
