I heard they were suppose to put a costco in apex near 64 and laura duncan but its been a year and I have not seen any development over there. Anybody hear anything?
I read elsewhere that Costco definitely won't be building in Apex. There was a rumor they were going to Cary instead (possibly Cary Parkway/Rte 1 area), but I haven't heard anything new on that in a while. I'll have to ask at the customer service desk next time I'm at the Raleigh one.
Would be nice to get a Costco/Sam's/BJ's over in the 55 area in either Apex or Holly Springs. Plenty of people there who would love to have one nearby.
I can't see going all the way to Cary to save a few bucks.
I recently heard a rumor about a Costco going up near the YMCA in Cary near 1010 Rd. Anyone heard anything else? I'd LOVE to have a close store here in Cary.
Sorry to pop this up again, but I heard a new rumor that Costco was opening up shop near the Park Place Shopping Center in Cary. Does anyone know if the land cleared at the intersection of 54 and Cary Parkway will be a Costco?

Thanks...my source's source wasn't very reliable, but now it makes sense. After reading the article I found why there was some confusion! See bold lol!

I wish Costco would open up a 2nd location in Wake County somewhere... if it would reduce congestion at the Wake Forest Road location.
