I have been using Turbo Tax professional to do my annual tax return, which includes about 10 rental properties. But I need to hire a CPA or tax preparer to fix last year's return (I made some mistakes) and do this year's return. What is a reasonable fee to expect to pay someone to do this kind of work?
It's a big range,.,,,but $500, based on what you told us, would be cheap. $1,000 would be pushing the upper boundary. Assuming all of your stuff/records are in good order.
But really, it all depends on the degree of complication. And your location.
