Bought this place in 2012 as a 3 bedroom and it showed up that way on those sites.
I've since remodeled it so that it's now a 2 bedroom and it shows up as a 2 bedroom on those sites. The remodeling was inside so I didn't need any permits. No reassessment. No listing with local realtor.
I'm not paranoid or anything but how do they know it's now a 2 bedroom?
seriously, I'm just curious. I gave up any delusion of privacy ages ago.
Alexa? good grief, no. I am technologically challenged. Just finding out that my flip phone will be useless by the end of the year has put me in a tizzy.
Maybe a neighbor who knows of your remodeling is planning on selling their house and wants their 3 bedroom to compare higher to your 2 bedroom so they contacted zillow to make the update?
if Zillow changed their public information like that (based on a neighbor, or anyone who didn't provide any proof) and not on public info, then I say you DM Surbiton and let's get this game-changing lawsuit going.
There is no way you didn't need permits if you moved walls etc. So likely your contractor pulled the permits and you didn't know about it.
