Hmmmm...I have no idea what a PM is so I guess I'm not. Project Manager, Prime Minister, Pregnant Mistress?

Property manager.

The PM must be *available* 24/7/365 to deal with what might come up.
Things that "come up" have a way of doing that at the oddest of hours.

Is that part time?

For some people, it could still work! (for example, if you work at home on your 'other' job). Primary considerations are the number of units (anticipated amount of activity); what exactly is expected; how flexible your response time/s can be ... And how rigid your other 'part-time' schedule commitments are.
