In southeast (hour south of DC),wondering if any professionals can give an opinion here?

Interested in opinions re: commercial , as well as smaller rental buildings.

Talking long-term.

Overall, the south/southeast is doing better than some areas, with some areas really hot. However, within any area, markets vary soignificantly.

Go to realtor.com and start looking at available properties in selected areas. Once you pick a target area, find a buyer's agent who will work with you to find the type of property you are looking for.

The question you asked was way too open ended for a direct response.

The I95 corridor will always thrive. Your challenge is getting ahead of the demand and identifying the up and coming locations for future mass transit and development. Several major research corporations release projections (Case Schiller is one) and pin-point trends.
