Seeing how if they do anything it usually leaves us with less money, less privacy and less liberty, what do you prefer congress doing something, or Congress doing nothing?

If government would get out of the way, this recession would have ended a few years ago.

Bring in term limits.

Get rid of the career politician.

That would solve most of the problems.

By imposing term limits you pretty much cause the lobbyists to go extinct.

unfortunately no you dont. congressmen have come and gone, and yet the lobbyists remain. in fact some congressmen become lobbyists after they leave office.

If the congress is not addressing the major issues, which are of the most concern to their constituents, then its best they do nothing at all.

So far, this year the Congress has been concerning itself with things the people do not think are important.

And yet, gun control and amnesty are the number one issues of the Congress. not to worry though, because each election cycle they suddenly decide to give speeches about how they will promote an a list of proposals to help create jobs. then go back to playing partisan games again, and give away the Treasury to their friends and cronies.

A government that does nothing does less harm to its citizens than one that tries to do everything.
Our dysfunctional government either messes things up or does nothing. I'll take nothing.
