I am getting deluged with Zillow e-mails (now about seven or eight a day) with listings that do not meet my criteria except that the listings are in the state that I am researching. I have tried editing to make the search within my parameters, but it doesn't "take". Also, even with editing, there are not nearly enough filters, imo, so I just prefer to be deleted from their e-mail notifications altogether. (Searching through New England Moves and Realtor.com is much more to my liking.)

Please help. Thanks!

OP, there should be a link somewhere in the emails you are getting to opt out of further alerts/emails.

Scroll to bottom of email. There should be a "to unsubscribe to this click here" line

Unsubscribe doesn't always work. Edit your profile and change your email to a bogus one. Only way to be sure you get out of the system. Works with most spamming sites like Zillow.

You can automatically 'move' all emails from zillow to your spam folder, or set up a 'rule' in your mail program to delete zillow emails. Each mail program has slightly different ways to do this.

At the bottom of the email should be a link to unsubscribe, or if you singed up on the website look for the part that says profile, or account and deselect that you want emails.
