We area about to buy a house directly from seller, all cash. Will this be recorded and displayed on sites like Zillow, Realtor.com, etc.? I'd rather not have info about our purchase on those sites! Thanks as usual!
Sorry, but you don't have a choice. Your information will become public record rather quickly.
I am not a lawyer so seek competent advice. But I believe you can form an LLC and then purchase the home as the LLC being the property owner. Still whatever info is public in your state will be listed on Zillow and so on.
My guess is you got a good deal. Perhaps this is a flip. When you go to sell it later on everyone will be able to find out what you paid for the house.

Home sales are public record. Nothing you can do about that.

In the old days, we went to the county courthouse to look up public records information. That still should be possible if the information isn't online.
I don't know about New Hampshire but here in Florida even if Zillow didn't pick it up my house that I paid cash for is easily available to find. Online I can go to the county website and type in my address and find not only my name but sold price and current and past taxes or I can go to zillow. I can also see what the original owners paid for it back in 2001. I can even see that there is no mortgage on it and see that the previous owner did take a mortgage for approx. half the purchase price.
Yes, there are some states that this information is not public but it is mostly public information and if not online it is available to walk into your county offices and request that information. Some places even put sales transfers in the newspaper which in the olden days is how my father would know what homes around him sold for.

Don't worry about it.
Years ago, the residents on Malibu Cal had a book published with pictures of everyone's backyards. This REALLY upset Barb Streisand. So much so, that after losing in court, Barb decided to just "buy up" all the published books. This of course, created interest in said book. Now, everyone wanted to see what was contained in that book.
If Barb would have not said/done anything about it, nobody would have cared.
So, don't make a big stink over it, and nobody will care.

The "Why so secretive any way?" really wasn't an answer was it? It looks much more like a pick-pick-pick.
Although, Texas is a non-disclosure state you can still find the owners name, phone and/or email through cross-referencing people search websites. The purchase price and mortgages are not disclosed.
I actually think with all the idiot political robots having nothing else better to do than harass is a great reason why people's names and address should not be public record.
I am not sure why California with all its privacy measures doesn't do this for its residents. It is a real head banger.
Companies hire micro-workers abroad to do tedious tasks like generating lists of prospective people to sell to based on desired demographics.
Guess who else gives out your personal info? It has to be your car dealer when you go in for warranty service.
These telemarketing car warranty and car insurance calls just keep coming. I never got them before or disclosed my phone number to anyone else.
After all, we can always say not interested, opt-out or unsubscribe but that doesn't always work.
