I've noticed that TV and movies show a lot of males drinking milk, etc., directly out of containers. They seem to show this as evidence that the male is "all-boy"/"real-boy"/happy-go-lucky/a "guy's-guy"...
Similarly, they love to show women eating ice cream out of a shared carton.
In both cases, a mentally-deficient person would be led to believe that these unsanitary practices are in some way IDEAL - something you should get-away-with, if you can. It's another way of weaponizing the morons among us.
In my pre-Carnivore days, when a sudden jolt of adrenaline could have sent me into a rage, had I walked around a corner and seen someone drinking out of a bottle in my fridge, it would have triggered one of my moments of extreme violence. I beat a man nearly-to-death, when, one lunch hour in a presumably-empty office, I rounded a corner, and saw the guy with his hands around my Receptionist's throat (her estranged hubby). The other time, an old Holyroller preacher, who'd spent the afternoon trying to con us out of our rental properties (then tried to seduce, first, my husband, and then me) was trying to "share Jesus" with our adolescent sons. Our daughter grabbed the baseball bat, on the backswing, before it could connect with his skull. Mop-up on that one, would have cost me dearly.
That's the reaction I would have had, in this case. We haven't kept milk, since the children were old enough to toddle. There's nothing liquid but various kinds of water, in our fridges, actually. But seeing somebody swig even THAT... The guy's lucky he only got fined.
With some people it is mystifying what they must have been thinking.
After that, I sure wouldn't hire him to sell any property of mine. Helping himself to the contents of the fridge, spreading his germs... there is no telling what he thought he would be entitled to take or try on.
I knew before opening the link that it was a man. Fined 25 grand, losing the sale and then his job is a big price to be for being a dumb ass. But that's exactly what he was.
