The email I got was from my Realtor ( George) who sent me a copy of the email he received from the buyer's Realtor. I hope we get the offer but as I said I am cautiously optimistic about it. The buyer has been here several times and has gone to the expense of getting plans drawn up and has spent a lot of time working with the city about this. Nothing is for sure I know but given the fact that he has done all this I think he has some interest in the property. We will have to wait and see I know, that is by far the hardest part. All I can do is pray and wait.
I want to thank you all so much again for your good wishes, it means a lot to me!

Ah, I understand the email better now. Definitely more than just an "interested" buyer if he's done all that. Did your realtor say what kind of offer you might expect from this situation where plans are drawn, ie, would he need some sort of contingency on getting city approval for the plans, etc? Good luck and keep us posted!
You have made me smile and laugh so many times when things look bleak. Laughter truly is the best medicine. Maybe we should call you Dr. Feelgood. I look forward to any poetic inspiration that should come your way. Tambre
Yes, I totally agree! What would we do without Crazyma!
Hi Judy, I just saw this post! Sounds very promising to be sure, I also have tried to not get excited until the offer is in hand, but sounds like the buyer has gone to a lot of trouble and expense with the city and since your's is a commercial property, it's a little different ballgame than the rest of us...hang tight, don't get too excited but be optimistic, at least the ball is rolling..
One by one we will all get out of this...we will have to start our own chat somewhere...
Thank you all so very much for your support! I know that there isn't an offer till it is right in front of you so I keep telling myself that all the time. I know he is interested but you never know. The one thing is that he has put a lot of time and effort and money with getting the plans drawn up ( not sure if he is looking to build a two or three story building ) but we will have to wait and see. I have never been good about waiting but I guess God is teaching me another lesson!
Crazyma I love your poems it gives me my smile to start the day, I would rep you for every one of them if they would let me!
TYVM Crazyma, I am trying. We learn new lessons every day from him and the biggest lately has been "not in our time but in his" I hope I am learning that one.
I guess God was shaking his head in agreement on that one, we just had a little earthquake here!
