Just wondering what the difference is with channis.com vs remax, etc.

I want to hear everything, good vs the bad.

Don't hold back.

Well the answer is very simple..........

Let's look at channis.com as a Ford Escort and ReMax as a Ford Expedition. Channis is in the area of a discount broker while companies like ReMax serve as a semi-full service. Personally nothing in life is free and cheap things fall apart easy.

Real Life story: I went to disney world last year with my two kids. We found a inexpensive hotel and decided we were going to save money. When we got to the CHEAP hotel the mattress' were pissy the carpet had gum stuck to the rug and the customer service was horrible. So in the middle of the night "after we saw a fly-flying" around the room we ended up leaving and staying at the MORE expensive hotel. We ended up spending more money than we anticipated because of paying for two hotel rooms and unable to get an online discount. I hope this answers your question.

Ha ha!
It certainly did!

Which hotel so I won't stay there?

Yeah, my evil stepmonster is selling my childhood home through channis. I figured there was something wrong if she wasn't going "upscale".

That totally made my day, thank you!
I hope the house stays on the market for a long time and she loses money.
She totally deserves it..*snicker*

Hey, to stay OT , same thing happened to us in FL! You get what you pay for and then, frequently, not even that.

I will not say the hotel that I stayed in because I dont believe in slander....LOL...

Let's put it this way! Any hotel with the word ECONOMY in it isnt good.

There is no such thing as a bargin. I wish people would stop looking for one! I wish your stepmother success, but at the same time you get what you pay for.

I believe in passing on good and bad encounters with hotels and other service oriented things. Comsumer reports and the local news do it and it is called WORD OF MOUTH. It is not slander it is saving people from the horrors you encountered.

Huh??

No such thing as a bargain???

So you pay full price for everything???

"You get what you pay for" does not necesssarily equate to " More expensive means better"

Personally, I think that anyone that doesn't shop around and look for "bargains" everywhere in life is foolish....

Smile Channis is great

We bought our first home Cary with Prudential. The realtor did not act in our best interest he talked us out of bidding lower then the asking price.
We bought our second home in Cary with Channis. Channis helped us get a great price on our home. The service was excellent I highly recommend Channis if you are buying a home and want someone to act in your best interest and isn't afraid of other realtors.

This has turned into quite a joke...lol

You have new members with one post saying that Channis is great. I wonder if they have any vested interest with the company...humm...

By you saying your Realtor "talked you out of bidding lower than the asking price"...are you also saying that you are not an adult with a mind of your own? Are you saying that you can be talked into buying anything? Would you be easily talked into buying the Brooklyn Bridge? Swamp land in Florida?
