TrueLemon and TrueLime are both crystallized juice, no sugar added. You can mix this with chili powder to make a seasoning mix. I mix TrueLime and chili powder to make a Mexican-influenced seasoning to sprinkle on chunks of fresh pineapple in the summer.

BTW, does anyone know how long they will keep? How do you store them?

i roasted these with masala pwder once. big mistake, stuck up the house for hours. great taste though.

Working on dinner tonight and saw my garbanzo beans and am going to do this now. DH likes herbs de provence so we'll start with the OP's suggestion.

Instead of buying chick peas in the can, buy the dried chick peas in the plastic bag and soak them overnight. This way you can control how many you have on hand.

Before going to bed, I bring a pot of water to a boil, add a cup of dried chick peas, cover pot, turn off the heat. Upon rising in the morning, drain the chick peas and place in container in the refrigerator.
