I bet you will like it: GoldieViolet said it right, if we eat a lot of veggies, losing a few vits her and there isn't really going to be the end of the world. We eat a lot of produce, especially veggies so I am sure we are not lacking in nutrients. We might have other eating problems, like too much, too much butter, my eating to much mayo, but not lack of anything except exercise.

Me as well when you look at it that way.

BTW - what sausages do you use on this side of the pond for "bangers" - I just haven't found a suitable substitute for true Bangers. I've even tried the "authentic" ones they sell at the British food sites but they just don't taste like the originals.

What is the true and correct banger? I never knew it mattered what kind of sausages you used. Although I have to say, all this talk about the nutritional benefits of cauliflower vs. potato is a little funny when we're adding sausage anyway -- NOT a paragon among health foods.

I suppose these days you can use any type of sausage and have "Bangers and mash," but I remember we had pork bangers with just the right amount of seasoning. But we also had a butcher shop down the street that made the bangers in-house - I'll probably never find a sausage to match how he made them.
