Anyone know where I can find a crock pot carrier for the 3 quart upright style? I have searched and the only ones I find are for 3-7 quart or something like this. I see none for just the 3 quart.
I'm afraid the ones that vary in size ranges will not fit correctly.
I'm getting tired of carrying my 3 quart size to parties worrying about the lid opening or even leaking with the lid on and spilling all over my car.

Seems odd no one has thought about offering this before now?

Thanks

I don't own a crock pot but do have other things that are serviced by a "range" such as 3 - 7. Some will have padding attached to Velcro type "bumpers" that prevent spills. You will need to look at each one individually. In the mean time, unless you are playing football with the carrier, all you need to do is wrap a towel around the crock pot and put it in the bag or if you are bagless now a box of approximately the size of your crock pot.

You know I never thought of packing it with towels, duh! I guess I really am getting old. My brain just doesn't come up with ideas like it used to. LOL!
Thanks for the tip! I have a crock pot carrier for my 6 quart, I'll just use that and wrap plenty of towels around it.
Thanks so much! This saves me from carrying my crock pot by it's actual handles with a loose lid on top. I'm taking bbq meatballs to game night this Saturday and I am so happy now!

I bought a new one that has a click shut top. But I had the ones you described, I used these:

I just used two on both left and right side. Worked like a charm. You can get them for a few dollars at a hardware store or walmart/target type place. They are bungee cords (stretchy) with coated eye and hook.

put it in a box and cushion the surroundings so that it's not moving around and sit on the floor in your car.

Here's a thing that will lock the crock pot for transport so it won't open and spill: Lock It
