Hi there~

Just wondering if anyone has a recipe to make their own rocket pops?
The popsicles with the blue, red & white?
I bought rocket pop molds from a catalog that was suppose to include the recipe but it didn't and when I called the company they said that was a misprint.
I suppose I could just take lemonaid and color it with food color and freeze the layers seperately ,but I seem to remember each layer tasting differently?

Thanks!

the red was cherry. the blue is often raspberry. Unfortunately, I don't think it's as easy as making koolaid and freezing it.

Wouldn't the second layer bleed into the first while you pour it on top? Maybe you could just use icetrays with a different flavor in each cube and put all three flavors in a clean plastic cup for serving.

I've never tried it myself, but I don't see why you couldn't use the different flavors of kool-aid so long as you were patient enough to let each layer freeze thoroughly before pouring on the next.

Oh boy, that sounds like a PITA. I'd end up going for a cup with blueberries, cherries, and whipped cream and calling it a day

I think they probably go in the mold "slushy" and then go to the deep freeze. Colder than minus 20. Maybe even minus 40.

Some people could just stick them outside in the winter time and accomplish that!
