My mom met a real nice guy off of an online dating site. So I guess they aren't all bad...at least yet. No reason to rough this guy up, yet. Although he did pay for airline tickets for me, which was a little bit "trying too hard."
I guess it is a good alternative, to people over 40, as they really are busier, and more mature.
You silly. Of course they aren't all bad. Only people that say that are the disgruntled folks. My BF is a terrific guy, and I doubt we'd ever have found each other any other way. I hope things work out well with your mom and her new friend (although I'd be hesitant to fly somewhere with anyone I didn't know really well.)

No he's not taking her alone. We are all going back to Martha's Vineyard the day after my BDay. The thing I don't like about him buying my ticket is: 1) trying too hard? 2) I hate people buying me things 3) Now I have to fly into Boston, I wanted to fly into JFK.
