I completely agree. Without good health, you cannot IMO have inner serenity or peace of mind. It is the one thing that if it deteriorates, you can't change or control, no matter how much money you have, the level of your education or what great family and friends you have.

All my grandparents made it into their 80's and 90's. My grandma (my mom's mom) made it to 96.

Wow that's great. My grandfather is in his upper 80's. We say he will live forever because only the good die young. He is an evil crazy Irish man. lol

It is possible to have peace of mind without having good health. Just look around you. I've seen people in wheelchairs, people who were very ill and people close to death who were completely at peace.

Of course, when you get sick or handicaped - or lose someone - it can take a long time before you accept your situation, but for most people eventually this acceptance comes.
