I'd prefer it if the children of people who separate or divorce were killed out of hand. You either stay TOGETHER for the kids, or they are out of the gene pool.

I think people who think like this should be out of the gene pool.
I agree with you. There should be a law that protects the father's rights as well. After all the baby is partly his.
I wonder if there are any laws like that out there.
If a the woman wants to kill/abort the child but the father wants the child. How about handing the child to him and having her sent him a paycheck for 18 years and all other things just like women do to men in court? Imagine how terrible it would be for a man to say "No, I am not paying you for 18 years, to hell with this. I am killing the child!"
The thing is that when its time for the father to hand the paycheck for 18 years, it is HIS CHILD TOO. But when the mother decides to kill/abort the baby it is HER CHILD ONLY.
I disagree. The fact that they baby has his DNA gives him the right to have an opinion.
I'm not saying he doesn't have a right to have an opinion. What he doesn't have the right to do, is force the mother to give her body to bear the child. How about, if the woman doesn't want the baby and the father does, we take out the fetus and give it to him? After all, your argument is that the uterus is irrelevant. Let him have his DNA.
Are you saying what I think you're saying? That is, that a woman should be forced to carry a pregnancy to term and have a child against her will? And you believe this will make things more "fair"?

Is it fair when a man expresses that he's not ready to be a father but a woman continues the pregnancy and sues him for support when he made it clear before hand he didn't want to be a father?

Yes. How dare those women extract our semen out of our testicles against our will.

So, say the hypothetical father agrees to pay for the woman's medical expenses as long as she signs over her parental rights. Is that what he wants? To be a single dad? Just culturally, I don't think a lot of men have any idea what full-time solo parenting entails.
