I just started a new relationship and things have progressed quicker than I've ever experienced in the past. Normally, I'm super guarded and even abrasive, but I want (need) to make a conscious effort in this scenario to open up and let my walls come down.

The guy I'm dating, while closed off about some things, is super open about his feelings for me, and I feel it's only fair for me to begin to express myself in the same way.

Any suggestions on how to open up emotionally while still remaining present and not becoming too vulnerable?

Still do your investigative work and trust your instincts too BUT if everything seems green then STAY IN THE MOMENT! That's the best way to open up is to appreciate the time you spend with this person and be open to that person just as he's open to you. We can try to protect ourselves from heartache and love but in the end you only end up robbing yourself the most. Enjoy!

Definitely have been drunk while with him. Not so much an opening up serum as it is a feeling friendly elixir (if you know what i mean).
