I think we may need to take up a collection for some good cheese.
I love a good blue cheese, for what it's worth.

Ever seen The Last Picture Show ? It's a masterpiece.
You're starting to creep me out a little, Rakin . I get that it's not a big stretch, considering we're talking about Jeff Bridges, but I just saw that one, and then the sequel, a few months ago for the first time. I didn't grow up in *that* small of a town, but I can relate. Great acting. And I especially liked seeing Cloris Leachman in that role. Very different from what she often plays.

I really got tired of the strong winds in California, so when i was searching fer a place in Oregon, i made sure it was a spot protected from the wind Very little wind here, surrounded by mountains.

We've seen Lebowski only about a few hundred times , but our VHS player died and we haven't seen it in a while. Believe it or not, we just now tonight added it to our streaming queue in Netflix. True Grit -- I mean, true story.

This movie is a True Classic
Dennis Hopper & Glen Campbell are also in it.

& Strother Martin.

LOL, now that's some interesting trivia. So many of us love that "lustrum" word of yours. I don't know, it sounds so "lustrous" or something...

Phew! *wipes brow* We finally got through with our Christmas decorating. We strung a 15-foot string of small white lights across our balcony. I love the holidays, but SHEESH! The work that goes into it.
