You know, they make such cool bandaids, now. If we had those back then, I could have slapped a couple on the other one, worn a sheer shirt, and called it "expressing my individuality".

Never noticed a smell, really. At least not unpleasant.
I think I got them on clearance at Urban Outfitters. They have ones that look like bacon, dog poop, other things...
I was just posting a couple of pages ago how my senses of smell and taste have become much more powerful - sensitive really is the only way to describe it - over the past few years. I think it's related to a neurological condition but don't really know. Things that never bothered me before - bandaids! - do now. I can smell mold or mildew when I walk in a building.
I should consider employment with the TSA, or Homeland Security
